Interesting Theatre is an amateur theatre group from Rugby, Warwickshire. We perform live theatre to the highest possible standards, with modern staging and state-of-the-art theatre technology. Volunteers all, we deliver top-class entertainment to the theatregoing public.
Our particular passion is for full-scale musical theatre. We aim to bring what's best about Broadway and the West End right to your doorstep.
Our secure online box office imposes no booking fees, and is quick and easy to use. Seating for our productions is unallocated. You can use regular payment cards or your Paypal account (you do not need Paypal). Tickets are emailed to you for printing at home, or you can show a confirmation barcode on your mobile device at the venue. Tickets are also available in person on the week of performance.
Box OfficeWe are excited to stage our next show at the Avon Valley Theatre, part of The Avon Valley School and Performing Arts College. This purpose-built theatre, designed in 2007 by Corstorphine + Wright, hosts up to 260 audience on tiered seating. Every seat has an excellent view of the stage. It is superbly equipped with up-to-date technology for theatre lighting, sound and staging. The venue has free, secure parking on site.

SubscribeMembership is open to those aged 16 or over with a passion for live theatre and a drive for excellence. As a member, you can take part in the productions - as part of the cast, the creative teams, the backstage teams or the admin teams. You join a group of passionate people committed to the pursuit of excellence in theatre. And for now, it's free!
Those under 16 will shortly be able to join, too. Keep checking back whilst we make the necessary arrangements.
Join UsYou don't have to be a member to audition for our productions - but you will have to join once you're in the cast or on one of the production teams. We hold open auditions, and provide an audition pack setting out what we are looking for and what we want to see from you at the audition. Just fill out the request form on the auditions page and we will send you the pack.
AuditionsInteresting Theatre is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation registered with The Charity Commission. The charity registration number is 1176731. This foundation CIO is run on a not-for-profit basis. It is managed by the trustees, and the members are unpaid volunteers. It is registered with the ICO under the Data Protection Act 1998.
